As both a treble and counter-tenor, Mehta is indeed exceptional . As far as diction is concerned in English i find that his English is better as a treble than a counter-tenor. I greatly have enjoyed listening to him, especially as a counter-tenor. As far as this performance is concerned I like it and like it for the extreme smoothness and control of such a beautiful voice. I also like his rendition of "destructive war" as a CT.
Indeed! He did not sing in a choir and was instead trained by his mother, which may explain why he sounds very like a female operatic soprano. His voice production, however, is quite countertenorish in that it prevents proper clear diction. His voice must have been very near the break.
Wow this is him who sang?? He is not a counter tenor??
