"When You Say Nothing at All" is a track from the 2002 album, "Live", by Alison Krauss and Union Station. The album, as well as the concert DVD, was released on Rounder Records. It is the band's first all-live album. The concert took place in April 2002 at The Louisville Palace in Louisville, Kentucky.
The song, "When You Say Nothing at All", was written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz and originally recorded by country music singer Keith Whitley, who took it to #1 on the country charts in 1988. Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Keating (Boyzone) recorded the song as his debut solo single in 1999, producing a UK #1 hit.
