  • @swamp2506 2 engines at 500hp each, you do the math lol

  • @Blago6actual no its fine, what you can see is the water which runs trough the exhaust sytem which cools the engine, all running fine thanks

  • @Blago6actual Be sure you have knowledge of a subject before you give your expert opinion on it.

  • No offense dude, but I dont hear 1000 horsepower coming out of your boat...sounds more like a John Deer tractor the way it is idling. You sure that you aint trying to stretch it some?

  • @malumventurum A RWC engine bypasses the heat exchanger and cools the engine directly. The water is still picked up from a belt driven impeller, but then enters the engine's water jackets directly. The only real advantage to a RWC engine over an FWC engine is less plumbing and exhaust parts. RWC engines should be flushed after each use and generally have a slightly less overall life span. The third type of cooling is a passive system, called dry exhaust, with pipes generally in a boats keel.

  • @malumventurum There are two main types of cooling systems on boats, fresh and raw water cooled. A FWC engine uses a closed loop system, very similar to a car, and circulates water (contained in a reservoir and the engine) around a heat exchanger. Sea water is then picked up from a through-hull fitting directly from the water beneath the boat by a belt driven impeller. Then it's circulated around the heat exchanger, cooling the "engines" water. Continued...

  • @chrishew85 How does that work then? does the water pump on a boat suck directly from the lake rather than a reservoir tank on the boat itself? excuse my ignorance i just don't know much about boats or how their engines are cooled.

  • What the hell was annoying clunker in the backround...? When the one engine finally started it sounded pretty crisp.

  • I didn't know cheese graters had cameras built-in

  • screw all the ppl who dont think its a nice boat, its gorgeous, hope you can get it on a good cam instead of a phone id love to see the detail in this thing.
