Every year on the day of 21st Ramzan this Juloos (procession) of shabeh e Taboot e Ameer ul Momeneen Hz.Ali ibn AbiTalib(as) started from the Najaf and reached its destination Karbala Taalkatora which is apprx. 5-8 km. far from the Najaf.
The Majlis starts just after the Namaz e Fajr.This Taboot is also known as " Hasan Mirza Taboot ",Hasan Mirza was the Shia who started and established this Juloos which is continuously being popular year after year.
Lucknow is known for its traditional Azadari and these Julooses are important part of this Historical Tradition.
We had have more than 900 julooses but unfortunately Government imposed ban upon Julooses after the clashes between Shia and Sunni in Lucknow.Now after a long struggle with government we got success to release our 9 julooses. And this Juloos of 21 Ramzan is one of the 9 Julooses.
