  • @9claudiajenssen She's keeping a stoic face as to not bring attention to herself. That wasn't the place to cause a scene. And no, she doesn't have a lot of facial expression. Not everyone does. There's nothing wrong with that, it definitely doesn't point to bad acting.

  • @9claudiajenssen DON'T YOU GET IT.

THE BEST ACTING A ACTOR CAN DO IS WHEN IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ACTING

WHAT YOU DESCRIBE ISN'T AN EXAMPLE OF HORRIBLE ACTING BUT JUST THE OPPOSITE.

    THEY ARE NOT GREAT .LINES.

IT'S HER ACTING SKILLS THAT MAKE THE SCENE GREAT.

  • <3 this. Especially as the piano in the background is a lovely, subtle joke they set up earlier in the episode.

  • She is so cute!

  • "I have wit, I have charm." - She says every single line with a straight face. Throughout the whole series she never had any facial expression. These are great lines, but horrible acting.

  • I just watched a feminist skank feeling very important?

  • Amy had some terrific lines.

Josh: You went over my head and you did it behind my back!!

Amy: Quite the contortionist am I

  • I didn't really like Amy, and she was of course wrong for Josh, but I simply could not hate the Josh/Amy pairing. Especially not after...you know, *that* scene at the end of "The Two Bartlets" with the non-existent vacation...

  • I found Amy to be a little stoic at times, but then there are scenes like this that just crack me up and remind me why I loved her character. Wasn't a huge fan of her and Josh, though. I loved their flirtation, but when they got into the relationship it just didn't work for me.

The more I watch the more I see her as a female version of Josh... which is great because Josh is awesome... but isn't the best thing for a relationship.

  • I personally LOVED the Amy character; she was brilliant, passionate, and yet always funny. I think the acting was first class, and I can totally see how someone like Josh would fall for a woman as strong as her.
