American DJ Mega Par Profile

The ADJ Mega Par Profile is a compact, low profile par designed for uplighting, stage lighting and will bring color and excitement to any party. This Par is intelligently designed so that it may sit directly on the ground or inside truss without the hanging bracket because the power & DMX Ins and Outs sit on the side of the fixture, not on the rear.

The Mega Par Profile offers smooth RGB Color Mixing, has a 30-degree beam angle, 5 operational modes (including DMX, Sound Active and Master/Slave), and has 7 DMX Channel modes for a variety of programming options. Users can also use the ADJ LED RC wireless remote, which is sold separately, to control the Mega Par Profile.

Why do light manufactures use mess up power linking. I understand the power in. But why not just a regular power out plug. We have buy another type of cable. I will pass on these.

@thedjtecaa no offense but when you have to buy 20 to 30 of them it adds up for up lighting. When you could just but black power cord you may already have or could use it for multiple uses. Plus you don't have to lug around extra power cords. There are other flat pars on the market that use a regular plug I think it just makes more sense.

@irgarza52 chauvet makes them with power in and power out. So does ADJ, but on newer models

Great Video.... I bought a pair of Mega Par Profile's (One didn't work.. But I exchanged it for a new one) .. I'm Running them with the "Chauvet Obey 4 DMX Controller".. (i'm planning to add more and difference lights to my arsenal!) ... Thanks again for a very informative video!!! They are extremely BRIGHT!!!

How does the sound active mode perform - like, will it do things like randomly enter the strobe mode and then go back to some other color fade pattern and strobe at different rates? I only really see demos of the individual modes like constant strobing or constant color fading but I don't know how the sound active would look...
