Princess Margaret Rose

HRH Princess Margaret Rose, Countess of Snowdon, was the younger sister of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The sisters were each other's closest friends growing up. After her sister became Queen she sacrificed love for duty and instead married another -which did not work out well. Known as the Windsor "wild child" of her generation her divorce & private life caused controversy but she won people over with her outgoing personality. Known for her fashion, her parties, her sense of humor she was larger than life and much beloved. She was patron of many charities, loved music and dancing and did particular service to aid abused and disabled children. A lifetime of smoking led to health complications and she died in 2002.

@4svennie she died in 2002 so i'm guessing thats why she 'stay's out of the press' as you put it, but fantastic work is completed by her trust on behalf of cancer research. A fantasic woman all round,

Margaret didn't age well because she smoked like a chimney and, for whatever reason, insisted on getting a tan, but in the beginning, she was absolutely beautiful. Ladies: Don't smoke & stay out of the sun.

@Lum1706 guess its personal opinion, beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that, i think they were both literally stunning, but just prefered Elizabeth's overall look and think she aged better, but for anyone to say that Margaret wasn't gorgeous would be a travisty. :)

Princess Margaret is a very quiet lady, she does well keeping out of the press, but uses the press to her advantage when publicity is needed to highlight a charity, so well done, HRH Princess Margaret.
