After 5 years of pretty reliable running and averaging 15 lbs of boost, I believe I blew a hole in the #2 piston after simply stabbing the gas to get away from a semi that came barreling towards me at an intersection. This clip comes minutes after the event and I didn't know quite what happened yet.

  • Whoops, good time to update this: this was not a piston failure, but a head gasket failure between cylinders 1 and 2. Internals turned out to be just fine, but I still retired my car after this and am parting it out. Clutch was on its last legs, I discovered! Ceramic 4-puck clutches are DONE after 40k miles...
