  • @sof54321 yes actually! not sure if the ingredients are similar, but the taste and consistency sure are.

  • i loved it

  • its all good and yeah i tried two times too first time it was good bt little soft for my family second time there were like thick slushy left at end i dnt know why .. and yeah at the end make sure u dnt steer too long or it will be like a brick... and while adding sugar never take short cuts .. i took n results werent nicee.

    good luck with cooking :)

  • @lovedream225 Thanks lots. BTW, i ended up in buying a kitchen scale couple of days back :):) ... just decided i should have one; but i am yet to try making this halwa the second time; the first time i did - it was indeed a fiasco - which i believe was due to deviations in volumes. Have a good one,

  • @xterasss 200 grams of sugar would be 1 cup and for water you can get a measurement jug or cup tht is in the ml.. and 125 grms of corn starch would be 1/4 cup and again 100 ml water can be on the measurement.. bt my aunt tried it and 125ml was like 3/4 of cup and so i guess 100 ml would be around 1/2 cup

  • Dear Chef,

The beauty of your recipe is the way you explain and anyone can follow it easily. Of course, your halwa is awesome. Mouth watering,,, Thanks for all your recipes. Raj
