  • Thanks Susan, I haven't done an art card in quite some time but I'm thinking about getting back into them again. I have been painting larger paintings. If you have any other questions, just let me know.

  • Great demo. Loved it. What surface were you painting on and I am assuming it is oil? If so how long before you could use it as a card and mail it? I am subscribing. Thanks so much.

  • @syoungartist Hello, I painted this on Canson canvas paper. Yes, I ussed oils to paint it. I use Liquitex to help the drying time so it only takes a couple of day to dry and I use Kamar varnish when it's dry. The varnish only takes about 15 minutes to dry enough to mail it.

Most of the art supply stores these days have canvas paper already cut to size. So far I only found Canson for art cards. I like the texture a lot.

Thank you very much for subscribing!

  • Fabulous fabulous fabulous! I love the way the tree trucks just appear. Magic! Beautiful landscape. I want to try a landscape this summer.

  • Thank you Suzi!

I wish I can REALLY make them appear out of nowhere like that. I'm still in the experimental stage with this. Thanks for your help! Good luck on your landscapes. I'm sure you'll make them well.
