  • "it's like the dirty dozen, except instead of a dozen you get fuckin' thirty one"

Perfect quote to describe the album.

  • Great review man, you touched on every single point on what makes this album such a wonderful addition to any music lovers collection. As I've grown my house has evolved from a bachelor pad into a family home; but my J Dilla living room poster will never be taken down. My fiance wanted it taken down when she moved in, but now after listening to Donuts it's become a part of her as well. RIP J Dilla I love you and your blessings with all my heart.

  • Sun, you should have killed this at about 2 minutes, 1 second. Up until that point it is spot on.... I actually didn't watch the rest!

  • if you havent already you should review Quasimoto the unseen its an amazing album

  • lol that moon on your shirt has a bit of fuzziness on it, looks like a record spinning almost

  • It's a genius and incredible album.

Always found it interesting that the start of the album is titled Outro, and the end of the album is caled welcome to the show.

  • Here's Raymond Scott's original 1960s "Lightworks" that was remixed by Dilla: youtube.com/watch?v=rWbzAa_c1VY

  • is it just me, or is that the Three Keyboard Cat Moon shirt? if it is, that is AWESOME

  • (just referring to what the video was to me) we know this. we figure out these own thoughts of the music on our own

  • This album changed my life real talk. I wouldnt be the person i am today if it wasnt for this man and his genius work.

  • Hey Anthony, if you liked this album then you should review Madvillainy, I know you already have heard it, but I would love to hear your view on it.

  • Deserves more than an 8 tony.
