Mustang Killer vs Monza Madman 1/4 Mile run

A completely XXX illegal southern Gotland (Sweden) streetrace in the month of July 5.30 in the morning. Only the cows could hear these two hoodlums roar away along the 70 km/h road for 402 meters (1/4 Mile). Poor cows.....

The H-bodies were import cars here, never sold by GM directly. And there was only around 126 of them imported. But a couple still around, like mine which is pretty good shape. The BB skyhawk sounds like a real fun car !

@atdlusdriver -- I wish I could be as brand biased as you == but after owning allmost every type of American Iron and some Imports tose days are gone like the innocence of youth ---- or first love after a bitter divorce .

Every manufacturer is guilty of selling shit at some time--- and they have all had dream cars ---- take the boss mustangs or the 427 powered camaros of yesteryear.

Look at the crap in the middle 80s and late 70s --- now check out the new Shelbys or V spec Caddys'--.Fuck me .

@millwrightman99 I'll agree with you that a Pinto looks alot better than a Fiesta--- I've always liked 70's styling. But I just hate it when people compare a Monza with a Pinto, its like calling a Camaro a Mustang. Although Ford and Chevy both make nice cars--- to a Chevy guy, thats sacrilage. And I'm speaking for just about every guy in the world who is into Monza's---

@atdlusdriver Hey dont get too worked up --- the Pinto was an excellent car with a drop dead good looking shape .If only Ford had put some effort into that car -- like a high power v-6 .they would have been 30 years ahead of the competition.

If the Pinto was for sale now -- they would not be able to keep up with demand ---- especially if they sold it for under $10,000 .

Thay but ugly Fiesta sells for a posted $14000 but you need $25,000 to get one worth sitting in. the Monza was a nice design

@millwrightman99 It looks nothing like a pinto! from the back, the only similarity is a "flat styling" of the hatchback window; and the dimensions are wwwway off. Check out the Ferrari 365 GTC-4, which Vince Piggins (head performance design of GM) designed the Monza after. Tell me that looks like a pinto! its only a $150,000+ car.

I had the Spyder with the factory 350\350TH and radial tires. the thing was a sleeper muscle car. add some NO 180HP shot valves and you could make some cash on Saturday Night with it! Yea baby get you some of that!
