  • cool concept but ur lighting is terrible. cant see the weaving.

  • @dkincarnate Sorry, this was my first indoor post and I should have used one of those daylight natural light bulbs for indoor photographing.

  • Our Walmart here does not carry paracord. If your Walmart carries it, it would likely be in the hunting and camping section.

  • @SOS2054 You can now buy this from my website survival store. I give the name of my website in the video. If I type the website here, youtube wont let it post for some reason.

  • Your local sports store may carry it. Also, check out the military surplus shops in your town, they will most likely carry it. For me, I purchase mine on line at cheaperthandirt dott com. I have to spell out the dot com because the comments wont let you post a link. Hope this helps.

  • Can you please re do this video with good lighting and some close ups.

  • @SOS2054 oh, no problem man, sweet job! that thing is bad ass for sure!

  • @achopou Sorry for the late reply I have some many replies to my sites I sometimes have a job just to catch up to them all. The average thickness of 550 para cord is 5 mm. Since para chord has approximately 7 smaller inner nylon strands, they can be used for many things. You can use the strands for emergency fishing line, the cord can be used to make bow string, tie together emergency shelters. The cord has a 550 pound breaking strength. Thanks for visiting my site.

  • All right people the weave he uses is the same type STORMDRANE used to make his wristwatch out of paracord. See his video then you will know what type of stitch was used in this video. Its actually very easy. I like the belt idea but it might be better to get one of those multipurpose belt with a hidden 24" long pocket on the inside. That way you carry cord and still have a belt.

  • need more light..

  • How thick is the cord? (in mm)

In the store near my place, they have 2, 4, 5 and 6 mm thick.

What is most useful for such applications?

    thx

  • i work in the sporting goods department in my walmart. we do not carry paracord and most likely walmart doesn't carry it at all..... except possibly on walmart.com
