  • i really liked what he said all but look at 3:50 the richest institutions are corrupt they have made their wealth through violence and the idea of taxes is just violence who does that server ? if what he is saying is true then the service would be enough and giving freely would be enough. we do not need third party interlopers Governmental and Religious institutions to steel from us through force or threat of force .. other then that i like what he said

  • Money alone does not bring happiness and though money can relieve financial burdens it is the quality of personal relationships that bring happiness without which you really have nothing worth having.Ironically it is often the sharing of hardships in simplicity and love that strengthen these bonds.

However I respect what he is saying, a screwed up idea of the virtue of "poverty" and being unable to handle money intelligently should be addressed but let us not get carried away here.

  • The latter is something to aspire to I think while the do service to others inorder to gain material wealth asJohn Demartin propounds if it is spirituality it has to be on a lower level than the other as taught by Jesus. For what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and yet suffer the loss of his soul?

  • I suppose she thought that spirituality meant that

" love one another" was on a higher plane than one for you and two for me mentality. Like greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his freind.Respect and love for one's fellow human bein g and the divine spark within him is .rare yes but above and beyond mere material exchange.of one for you and one for me even?

Yes that is still important but as far as the true spiritual it is concerned it is not the real thing is it?

  • ..I like it. this man is clever.

  • I think he makes MANY good points about money, but he does it in a very EGOTISTICAL WAY! He bobs his head and name calls. He could learn from Eckart Tolle.

  • Brillaiant!

  • I can't find the quote he attributes to Tertullian anywhere...anyone know more about this?

  • so brilliant.....thanks so much Lilo for have John as a guest!!!
