Sadie, What's up with bringing fists to belly? Purpose?
-
Is there an alternate wrist position? Good results so far, but some slight joint pain in the wrist area.

You can also practice this plank to downward flow in the dolphin stance (forearms on floor) to 1. make it easier on your wrists 2. strengthen the shoulders and upper back more or 3. just to change it up. Just make sure the throat always feels freed up!!

i have a bit of discomfort on my lower back after doing a couple of plank pose...i try to contract my abdominal muscle,n not slumping my upper body, but it still happen.. :(

put your knees down from Plank, and work to lift your navel until you get abdominally strong enough to support your lower back. It won't take long, but until then, stay knees down. No use to do full Plank and hurt your back.
good luck!
