  • They are selling Gen manipulated everything in Europe... They are doing it. People believe in them and they do what they want Wake the FUCK UP...!!!?

  • I have a few EU favs in my webpage. You can also check out my Codex Alimentarius playlist.

    All the best

  • I oppose the EU and see what it is doing to urban areas in Slovakia. They are not unlike our congress here in America. Crooked and not in the best interest of the people. Thanks for the information. I will look into it!

  • You are lucky, but beware of the Lisbon Treaty. There's plenty of info here in YT. This EU we're getting into is ruled by a bunch of buro/technocrats, and companies like Monsanto rule. You find 8 lobbyists per MEP, and the EU Committe is the one making the laws, not the elected MEPs. Right now vitamin and mineral supplement prohibitions are under way. In healthfood shops signatures are being collected for a petition against it. It seems the big pharma are slowly winning the battle.

  • Things work differently in Slovakia. I should have said eastern europe instead of all of europe. They have a hard time selling Western type foods and most all their products are GMO free and organic. Any percentage is reported. After all a percentage indicates modification. I never see anything labeled organic. If the food sucks, it doesn't sell.

  • EU is getting ready for GMOs as well. Wait for the Lisbon Treaty to be approved. Right now, the term 'organic' already allows for a small % of GMOs in the EU. My question is, how are the consumers going to react in Europe. We will see.

  • I wouldn't go that far. Many cows in UK and Ireland are fed GM fodder, but this doesn't appear on the label. Also there are tricks to bypass this labelling: if GM appears under a certain % it can be omitted, and often you get a product "manufactured in France" whereas the original crop comes from the US. In the end, organic is the only safe label.

  • Genetic engineering: we're next.

  • great question. gmo's in europe are properly labeled as such. we also need to know if foods we eat are GE. but for now, if you see fda approved stay away from it!

  • The FDA is in crisis according to Henry Waxman, Chairman of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee. I hope CNN will cover at least one other serious domestic problem other than healthcare.
