I got this laptop from March 2008. Indeed not a problem with it...very very performant/good looking machine. It looks better than the new 8730w. Will use for another year and after that i will get the dream machine...a Lenovo W700 :D

i have a question:
how is the display screen? u have the 1900x1200 version right?
u have darkeness issues in the corners?, the display have any problems?
I read a forum in which commented that they had problems with the screen
I bought this laptop, but still does not come to my home to try it and I am worried

Well I am so satisfied with mine display.
Yes it is 1900x1200 which is natural resolution. At lower setings like 1400 x 900 the screen is not as clear as at 1900x1200 but it works ok. And there is no darknes at corners, but you must take my comment with reserve, becouse I am not so demanded as others may be.
So I think that issue is unique for that pice only, where ever u read it.
