These were the days when the ABs would turn up and play regional sticking plaster sides, mostly hammering them, and then show up at Jolly old Twickers and generally beat the living daylights out of a team of Englishmen who had first met eachother in the changing room 2 hours before the final whistle!

The Haka like the game itself was a bit loose in those days. You could have seen me in the terrace there at Twickers, soaked to the skin, but quite enjoyed watching the mighty All Blacks. Later at a party, met lots of ABs and chatted to Arthur Jennings, a Fijian national living in NZ and played for them. So, not new for foreigners playing for other countries.
