This was my brothers band. I grew up a surf rat in the south bay with Dag and the Descendants playing in the garage.My mom sweeping the floors up stairs, singing every word . Skating the alley with Brian , Peter, my brother Doug. EMO? who cares about EMO. This is old school Hermosa Beach South Bay surf skate punk!!! I lived it. These guys, and bands like the Descendants , CON800 (Fletcher from Penny wise and my brother Doug Carrion) The Nip Drivers, Minute Men, They are Pioneers!! Go Home!!!

You have no fucking idea what your talking about.
Emo-core is bands like Rites of Spring, Embrace, Indian Summer, and DAG NASTY. It's not the same as the shit today that's just labelled Emo.
