And instead of creating something ground breaking in a culture rich genre - they just create something generic and actually unoriginal - everybody uses that stupid RnB/Trance backing that is really weak and repetitive (Neyo, chris brown etc etc - just listen to their so called 'dance tracks' and you will know what I mean, jut the same keys playing some diluted trance synthesizer ) - its a weak attempt at club music it really is. The UK keeps its SUB music DISTINCT. IE Bassline/Garage

What America ended up with is a bunch of unoriginal people who are confused about the identity behind different music genres - IE : The Black eyed peas - listen to songs like boom boom pow - all they do is bang a load of different styles together in an attempt to make it sound 'new age' and original - but all they do is try to incorporate generic examples of different genres - they try to be electro, RnB, rappers and Trance artists ALL AT THE SAME TIME - all it does is make them indistinct

It differs because UK sub music still has culture and identity associated with it - the US no longer has any identity or culture in their music (Aside from country and western) all they have is Rock; Hip Hop and Pop - none of which is original or unique anymore. They used to have identity in the 90s with house music, 90s rock and 90s rap music - then mainstream money grabbing killed their music and killed off their identity - this has happened with our mainstream music
