Gravity is against Shawn in this song. He is reaching towards the Heavens, but gravity, in this sense...life, is pulling him down. What Shawn is trying to say is that, life is throwing false religions at him and all of this is pulling him further and further away from me.

Im sorry but thats not what I get from the words----he is saying gravity is SIN and when you get close in prayer to jesus--sin seperates that feeling of closeness and security of soul that your walking in his will. Shawn----has felony charges from past drug convictions--but still calls out to the lord--powerful. Jesus is blessing him

@DUBDUBWAH I think we, as Christians, could learn many things from other peoples and religions. Today I read an interesting view at the good things in Islam. Their love and care for each is often greater than our. But when that is said, I really hope you are right with the Lord and not just making your own god by picking the nice and comfortable things out. He said nothing at all about "false religions" in this song. I'm 20 years old and a highly spiritual Christian. I draw some of my views from other religions, such as Hindu, Buddhism, and Taoism. But I don't think that makes me not a Christian and I definitely don't think it's bad. I think the most important thing in the world is your own HEART. Love is the passageway to The Holy Spirit. I Love my family and I Love God with all my heart and I always will. AMEN!

@40rtyp I'm not being "blinded" by religion and I DO have a relationship with Jesus. I'm not even trying to fight, what's the problem? I wasn't talking about the last sentence either. I read it all pretty clearly. I'm talking about where you said "am I the best Christian, Probably not at this moment" No one is the best Christian. We're all equal in God's eyes.
