St Petersburg Florida. I love St. Pete (the locals shorten the name)! This is, in my opinion, one of the best places to live. Tampa Bay has professional sports (football, hockey and baseball), theater, world class museums, symphony, outstanding hospitals, two universities and numerous colleges, white sandy beaches (frequently named as the best beaches in the world), an international airport, multiple waterfront parks, upscale shopping, fine restaurants and wonderful weather. It´s no wonder why this little city has grown so dramatically with all these features. Since St. Pete is a peninsula, we enjoy off shore breezes on both sides of the city. Housing opportunities vary from charming, historic homes to contemporary to townhomes to high rise condominiums. Among the numerous options are waterfront, golf course frontage and gated communities. For more information about homes in St Petersburg, St Pete Beach and Tampa Bay please go to my web site www.ISellStPetersburg.com, e-mail: dawne@dawne.us or call me at 727-560-6161

  • I was born in St.pete and lived here ever since. It is the most bueatiful place to like. Like many others live in the downtown area and I love it. I would not want to like in any other city that St.pete. I am a member at the vinoy and it is a very nice club. It has ben there forever and it is a great place. I go to the saturday morning market anytime I can and I love it St.pete florida is the best place to live and grow up. I am only 13 but i know a good place to live. I loved growing up here.

  • i've been there!! and on the bridgeee! and to that huge grocery store with the elevator!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Living downtown was great, only a 30 min drive down Central Ave to St. Pete or Madeira beaches. Sales tax comparable to NYC but it is offset by no state income tax. Downtown SP has affordable apts, shop well 'cause weirdos will wreak havoc with your life if you're not careful, like any larger city I guess. It's true what they say about the southside, very ghetto, gang warfare and dangerous. Some naieve guys had their bookstore there-robbed 4x in 3 mos and shut down after less than a year open.

  • You better have marketable, highly desireable job skills or don't even think of moving there. Tampa Bay is not the kind of place you want to live a troubled life in. Many people come to Florida to escape a troublesome past, thinking they won't carry their problems with them but they always do. You don't want to be going around keeping one hand on your wallet, the other on your gun and an open phone line to your lawyer on retainer.

  • @Leon612 Shitty

  • I want to live there so bad.

  • how's the job situation down there for recent college grads?

  • @ShineyRhymes Isn't that near Hooker Tea? Thats my favorite place here and also Cafe Bohemia. Downtown St. Petersburg is better than the rest of it
