Other than some hard landings, I thought he did a beautiful job. I just love the Makarova version way better than the usual Bazhok variations by Rudi or Grigorovich--better as a solo without the other dancers.

First time I saw this variation at the theatre it was a shock, as in Makarova's version the idol already is sitting, motionless, on stage and then he begins. I couldn't sleep the following night because of this shock of beauty.
