JKD is not beter than wing chun. you are aquivocated. The diference isn't on the style, but the fighter.

A good wing chun fighter can win a JKD fighter just using SIL NIM TAU, if he nows how to use, in all variations.

    The diference is the figther.

Like Master IP MAN said, " the diference isn´t the south style or the north style, but you."

    Think beter my friend.

  • Wing Chun is the best martial art , of the world!

  • Its train reflect

  • Not bad but he is not that fast, he knows how to move, defend and attack but he needs more work to be faster. good video good training.

  • I looked this Sifu up and can't find him anywhere. I found out that there are a group of his senior students who are teaching at the Garland Police Boxing Gym. Class is leading by a police officer Perez. I wish I could train with these guys.

  • Great class! please post more video of this sifu. Any instructional DVD?

Yeah, if the person is relaxed -- you still force them to fall by your manipulation of force.

Yes, pulling in your legs and pinching the ground with your legs is correct (stance/statutory moment wise), but this is particularly applied to when someone is attacking you. If they're attacking you (or to reach you), they have to step in. As they step in, force is towards you, which you pull with your arm and stop their leg with yours, causing them to fall regardless.

  • @kennethlhau So if the person is relaxed, you try to turn it into a trip lol.

Ok, so it was more how I understood it. How wing chun is taught, or at least when I learned it, I was told to pull in my legs, to pinch the ground with my legs, same thing with Bak Mei.

That makes the legs incredibly stiff so it would work with southern styles I suppose. I don't tense my legs because I found myself very easy to tip with too much force.
