Hey man , It's not so so bad, i mean it is still something hard to play, but , I don't feel anything, it is in lack of rythm and depth.

Maybe the you should voice a little differently, or play it differently, Herbie plays a lot of his chords in blocks. So try blocking you chords smoothly in rythm and jam on the good parts
