@qweasdzxcname you are absolutely right...i,myself too prefer modern fighting styles like mma,krav maga etc(in fact i am a practitioner of krav maga).....but i was comparing shaolin with kalari, if you compare shaolinquan with kalari,shaolin is a lot superior

@MrXiphos7 shaolin martial arts or kung fu in general is no more than buzz. its actually not as effective as most might think.

Krav-Maga is much more effective than all the others since it was first created like 50 years ago for military use and still being developed.

if you want to learn how to protect urself i suggest krav maga. if you want to empathize on clear movement with no effectiveness, go for far east martial arts

both can be fun to learn and healthy for the body so i say all is great

@JJMATHIAS23 come on...those 'guns' (blackpowder musket type) could not hav lasted for long...plus there is something greater than guns ....called tactics/strategy...so still why did the indians fail...there are records that portuguese swordsmen used to defeat these indiand in swordfights regularly.....

@shubroto81 thats a myth brother.... Non veg food was part of the hindus since ancient times.....yeah brahmins didnt eat that but khsatritya casts,warriors,adivasis consumed meat.
