7 minutes of some amazing Martial Arts by my friends in Kerala, South India. It's from a very, very rough video - remember those? filmed by one camera at a time, so picture quality is rough. But you should be able to geta feel for the martial art form itself.

  • That was so gay

  • @shubroto81 thats a myth brother.... Non veg food was part of the hindus since ancient times.....yeah brahmins didnt eat that but khsatritya casts, warriors, adivasis consumed meat.

  • simply awesome !!!

  • @JJMATHIAS23 today the hindus eat meat, at one time they didn't eat meat. Things have changed now, not eating meat actually quietens your mind and increases focus and reduces the passions. Even a lot of shaolin monks don't eat meat.

  • my unckle was capable of taking an enemy while sleeping

  • Kalari TRUTH:

In Sangam, Kalari was not used as a martial act according to Dick Luijendijk, a researcher at the university of Nijmegen. "Kalari" is a centre of learning in Kerala. they taught language, math etc. later on, there were fight schools, thats what "payattu kalari" means.

  • Qing Scholars of the same time as the preface denounced the author of the preface as "an ignorant village master" because there are MANY historical errors in the preface, including getting who was emperor at the time WRONG. that is like saying Bush is still president.

    google this

"A Venerated Forgery: The Daoist Origins of Shaolin’s Famous Yijin Jing Manual By Jim R. McClanahan"

    For detailed examples.

  • @JJMATHIAS23 nope. wishful thinking again

  • @TenteixSaigo Where is your friend from? Goa? That state has the most Catholics due to the Portuguese. Kerala has Orthodoxy due to St. Thomas the Apostle and Middle Eastern Assyrian/Syrian Orthodox Christians. The Portuguese came to Kerala and converted the people to Catholicism as well. The majority of India is Hindu, so the laws were made by the kings of those parts. I'm not saying every state it is illegal to eat beef, it's because India is a Hindu oriented country.

  • @JJMATHIAS23 According to my friends from the Catholic state in west India, it's not even legal there. WTF?
