This is how a typical New Delhi (India) street traffic looks (and sounds) like. This is an area in West Delhi, not very modern, not very posh.
There are 28 kinds of vehicles sharing space on congested Delhi roads. From fast mean machines to killer blueline buses to polluting trucks to zipping bikes to scooters to 20 year old cars to brand new cars, all honking furiously at the same time, to manually driven rickshwas to bicycles to overloaded bullock carts. Add to this the "we-dont-care-about-our-lives" attitude of pedestrians zipping accross roads in the middle of fast moving traffic. And the icing on the cake? - No one, and I mean no one, gives two hoots about ANY traffic rule and regulation! (Not even the Traffic Police!)
Welcome to Delhi!
Looks like the streets belong more to pedestrians than to cars, as in Africa perhaps?
