@tedzodd i remember him and Bowie on SNL doing TVC15 from Station to Station while dressed like futuristic flight attendants and i also remember what u r describing but the song escapes me, seems like Bowie did Boys keep Swinging from the Lodger LP that same show , his head super imposed over a paper bag body sort of , it was a lot to take in but most agree Bowie ripped off Klaus and tossed him aside, he really owes Klaus.

The first time I ever saw him was...I think...on Saturday Night Live back in the 70's...performing with David Bowie. Klaus was in black, and David was in red...and they were standing in big urns of matching colors, carried onstage by some big men. I'm sure I saw this...but can someone please corroborate this? I don't remember what they sang.
