NYC Youth talks about the need for DASA

Anthony took part in Equality and Justice Day, one of the biggest LGBT lobby days in NY, where over 1,300 people took part in the powerful day. 300 young people from around the state called on their representatives to pass the Dignity for All Students Act. DASA would prohibit harassment in schools, require reporting and tracking of incidents and mandate training programs for school staff to give them the tools they need to combat harassment.

We need your help! Our senators must act now to show New York's young people that they heard their call for safe schools!
