In this tutorial you will learn how to create a basic HTML page, and how to fill it with formatted text, paragraphs, new lines, hyper-links and images. We will discuss the nature of tags and I'll introduce you to the basic formatting and command tags needed to produce a fully functioning HTML webpage.

  • Can you please tell me how you opened that up in google, I use Firefox & that part has got me stumped..

  • @stepat40 just drag and drop the html file into it, or set your chrome web browser to default

  • Just a few question's.

How long is this series going to be?

How long untill you get into CSS, cause that is something I would really like to learn.

Other than those 2 question's... looking forward for future tutorials very soon!!

  • @2010Mrsurfer the second tutorial is encoding as I type this, and should be up on the net in the next two hours. It deals with the stricter and more professional XHTML standard. This is the pre-amble to CSS, which will follow in tutorial three.

I'm not sure when the CSS tutorial will be up, it's already 12:30am so it won't get done tonight. I recommend going through tutorial 2 once it's up, it will prepare you for more advanced coding.
