Interview Black Cat Bones / Brazo Negro (recmag.com)

UNDER THE SIGN OF B (SOUS LE SIGNE DU B) is collection of "fake posters for not-so-fake movies", feature's revisited posters edited as a tribute to B movies by BLACK CAT BONES EDITIONS.
Under the same name, we organised an exhibition of French and US movies / festival's screenprint posters in Lyon (France) in june 2007.

The UNDER THE SIGN OF B posters exposed were drawn or designed by TANXXX, DER KOMMISSAR, RICA, LES FRERES GUEDIN, NAVETTE (France) and ISMAEL OLIVARES (Mexico).
The features we paid homage to are THEY CALL HER ONE EYE (Bo Arne Vibenius), EL TOPO (Alejandro Jodorowski), LADY SNOWBLOOD (Toshiya Fujita), SWEET SWEETBACK BAADASSSSS SONG (Melvin Van Peeble) & DEATH RACE 2000 (Paul Bartel).

The US posters exhibed are mostly posters of events organised by the ALAMAO DRAFTHOUSE CINEMA :
The QUENTIN TARANTINO FEST, the ROLLINGROAD SHOW festival, and the FANTASTIC FEST.

This video was made by Norman Clouzeau, a "bis movie-addict" for REC MAG, a local video magazine ( www.recmag.com).
Fabien Thévenot (BLACK CAT BONES / books & screenprints editor) and Henri-Pierre Trocherie (aka BRAZO NEGRO / screenprinter) are interviewed about their work.
