Inspired by nearing death of my mother, and my emotions watching the nervous-breakdown of an acquaintance's memoirs of Thailand and India as revealed in their desperate writings - I paint an homage to our short lives on planet earth; seemingly sometimes infinite, but energized by our soulful awareness that we are all living on borrowed time.

Music is Terra Naomi, 'Everybody Knows,' Album: You for Me. First shown at Albuquerque Press Club May 2010, next showing at Voodoo Scooters Alb NM. Commission your next abstract portrait from me by contacting miko@mikoarts.com or calling 505.203.8244.

  • I just want to know - what were you thinking when you created this wonderful piece? This is absolutely gorgeous!

  • I have no words. This moved me to tears... your painting is so beautiful and powerful and the music is perfect for watching you create it.

Brought me back to when my dad died... i still miss him and remember the moment he passed. There is so much pain in life but through it if there is love in the human heart through the endless torments, it is not in vain...

May your mom rest in peace in realms of endless light, infinite joy, and perfect peace. Namaste

  • @MJTization thanks MJ, I appreciate that :)
