being 640x480 I guess it will not be compatible with "Second Life" since it requires higher resolution.

They are nice but it's more like watching a 4 to 6 inch screen up close (sorry, not like watching a big screen tv). Good for late night gaming. It's almost like your in a movie theater center stage a few rows forward of projection booth. There is a tunnel effect due to design of glasses. This are fun to have, but don't be fooled by claims it's like watching a big screen tv.

Why? Simple, harmless question...
The answer is NO, they're not as slick as they look and the problems have NOT been resolved. If you think you'll play like it's you 22" 2ms monitor, you're going to be disappointed.

I want these for Augmented Reality! I want them soo much!! XD
Can anyone who's tried these things, tell me how comfortable it is? How long can you wear them, in terms of eye strain??? Is it hard for your eyes to focus on? Or give you a headache? Or not?
Or have they solved these issues? I really hope they've solved those problems. =/
Someone told me (years and years ago) that HMDs had such problems. I hope not.

what's this future VR1440 that he mentioned?
will it be HD, like 720p or 1080p?
I'll wait for that, rather than 640x480
Also, I may have to get contacts, since these gadgets only adjust upto 5 diopters :(
