Obscure SNES Titles: DoReMi Fantasy

DoReMi Fantasy, also known as DoReMi Fantasy DokiDoki Adventure, is a sequel to the NES title Milon's Secret Castle. That game is an obscure puzzle game that, frankly, is awful and not fun to play. The only thing this game shares with that game is that you still shoot bubbles and can find secret things in blocks, but now it's sidescrolling platformer game.

The levels are short but numerous. There are 7 worlds with at least 5 levels in each. It's very fun and has lots of secret areas to explore. The layout of the overworld (map screen) reminds me of Super Mario World, with it's border and overall style.

The game was released in 1996 and was later released on the Virtual Console in 2008. It's an nice find.
