Why do the gases come out so fast?
Each tube is magnetically aligned north and south; like our planet Earth. Then Negative DC is applied at the bottom of the center tube. Positive is applied at the top of the outer tube. The magnetic field then assists the gases in being propelled to the top.

Notice - there aren't any bubbles creaping to the surface; they are hauling tail out of there.

If one tube, or plate for that matter, is out of alignment, it will affect the output of the cell.

The electrolyte level in this video is around 25 amps.
