I'm usually in a "Toots" mood when it's raining and I'm at home or driving. Listening to him always puts me at peace. My only regret is that I've never seen him in concert. I hope to this year.

I saw Toots play this song with Kenny Werner and Oscar Castro Neves 4 years ago in Worcester, MA ; the expressions that they put forth that evening have been duplicated in this performance. This is such a mellow and moving composition that is superbly expanded by these expert musicians. Thank you so much for the posting.

Toots aims for the heart and always pulls out a tear.......like he signs, WITH A SMILE AND A TEAR.
I had the great pleasure to have a 20 minute conversation with him a few years back in Los angeles in a Jazz Club called Catalina´s Bar and Grill in Hollywood and to me he´s not only the greatest musician still alive but also the nicest man i´ve ever met.Talking with him was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
Toots you´re my inspiration......
