Disco vs. Rav4

Again a small car with new tires against a big car with old tires. The match is more even here, but it is a pretty good example of the difference between old and new tires (or tires for only winter use and tires you can use all year round). The Discovery should have won easily - clearly it didn't...Land Rover Discovery (2000 kg or 4400 lbs) against Toyata Rav 4 (1150 kg or 2530 lbs). Discovery with old/used Michelin Synchrone and Toyota Rav with new Michelin Alpin.

Oh, and for Land Rover lovers this is not a proud moment, but we are gonna blame it all on the tires. Looking at the snow after this match it was clear that the Raw with the new tires had a much better grib...

the hairdresser would of been proud of his RAV 4. A Disco with tread in it's tyres would of towed the RAV 4 and a building along with it. And you know it.

@sitandswivelnow No argument from me there, I owned a 97 Rav 4 and it was the most gutless thing I ever owned, but I still think Toyota builds a better product then Range Rover thats all.
