When I got braces in high school, I had spacers between my teeth for a week. Then it took 3 hours for them to shove little rings of death around each tooth and then tighten it all with a wire cable. It hurt like the very devil. I couldn't eat solid food for a week, and everything tasted like metal.
30 years later they come out with Invisalign.

Most of our patients may have no idea who the Brady's are but here is an episode where Marcia Brady gets braces and isn't crazy about them at first. Oh but Mrs. Brady is so wise :)

Marcia only had them on for 1 episode. I don't blame her...back then they had to get teeth pulled in order to get braces.
