A motor is used to lift various small masses. The energy supplied by the motor can be calculated from the potential difference, the current and the time taken. The gravitational potential energy gained by the masses may be calculated from their mass, the gravitational field strength and the height lifted. These figures allow the motor's efficiency to be calculated along with other various comparisons concerning the motor.
