Typhoon Songda 2011

May 28, 2011 - Typhoon Songda packs a powerful punch over Okinawa. If you can, listen to this with headphones. Here, the winds were actually dying down and had finally dipped below 100 mph. I WISH I had gotten video while the winds were going over 100 mph, but I was terrified and huddling on the kitchen floor with the kids! I only opened the door on the side of the house opposite of the one the winds were hitting directly. Listen to how loud it is inside the house. It was even louder earlier in the evening. Like hell was I sticking a camera out the door in 110+ mph winds, though!
