Carle Clinic self check-in

Carle Clinic is one of the first healthcare providers in the country to implement patient self check-in technology from Epic Systems.

Similar to airport kiosks or grocery store scanners, our self check-in eliminates the need to discuss personal information aloud.

Located in Family Medicine at Carle Clinic - Urbana and in our two new locations, Carle Clinic - Champaign on Curtis and Urbana on Windsor, the system allows patients to check in, verify insurance and update personal information without ever visiting the front desk.

Functions added in fall 2008 will allow patients to make copayments with a credit card and print appointment reminders.
