The ambient sounds and stuff (if you play it you'll hear it better) remind me of SotC as well.

Oh, how I love this and Knytt Stories. Some of the most atmospheric games I've ever played.

I was going to wait for your next hiatus to start watching this LP but changed my mind.
Playing Knytt Stories, I was surprised by how diabolical elements of Nifflas' levels could be at times compared to Knytt. Also, adding powerups made Knytt Stories' levels less open and nonlinear, traits I really liked about Knytt. Though, as you said, both are good.

That beam of light showing the location of the ship parts...it very much reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus, how you used your sword to locate Colossi. Actually, this game seems to have quite a bit in common with Shadow. Only it's in 2D. I approve of this! Nifflas is the guy who also made...Iji, right? And Hero: Core?
