@Inferfire Actually I thought that it better signified that cops and criminals are not so different when it comes right down to it.

@MoyaMovieMusica I never said it was. I'm glad you brought this to my attention though.
-
did you film this with a pirate scope?
-
@vindinArges No he wasn't. Leonardo was nominated for blood diamond, thats it. Btw it wasn't even in the same year.
-
@MoyaMovieMusica but Leo Dicaprio was nominated twice for best actor same year same category, how come that was allowed?
-
was this filmed on a bar of soap or somthing?
-
@vindinArges Just have to guess that they gave him the nomination for "In the valley of elih", instead of no country. He was excellent in bought, though.
Its more of a metaphor than improper cop technique.
If you notice, the sheriff does the same exact thing that the bad guy does, he sits down, drinks milk and stares at himself through the reflection of the tv screen.
This signifies that in order to catch someone or stop crime, you need to think and act like a criminal does.
**Spoiler***
This is why the sheriff retires in the end, he chooses to not understand new age type of violence. He would rather be a good guy than become a criminal.
