Tribute to Gone West: One of the Most Influential Stallions of All-Time

In the fall of 2007, Mill Ridge Farm was gracious enough to allow me to visit the farm and see Gone West. With the announcement of the death of Gone West, I thought it was fitting to re-visit the video footage and the commentary about Gone West, truly one of the most influential stallions of all-time.

thank you so much for the privilege of this video. I have often wanted to see him and I missed an opportunity. He had Mr. Prospector's coloring but his confirmation was all Secretariat.. look at the hip, shoulder, and neck, and those 3 white feet.

I couldn't believe he passed....RIP Gone West.
