People who breed this specific type are absolutely wrong. The gait they have just LOOKS painful, and completely ruins the original design of the dog!

@im1greatman What? What does pedigree have to do with some morons way of breeding? A pedigree is simply a document over a dogs family-tree (not only with names of the dogs, but also their results in x-ray and other diseases, competition(working) and showresults) . It is a great tool to use when you want to breed a dogs so that you can avoid those dogs that has had negative health results (for example).

Look guys, i have a normal GS and a show GS, and i have to admit that the normal one is much better in my point of view.But i also think that the standard of the breed was written by the same guy that made this breed, and that standard should be used today!

@superdupersonic And about the FR3 or Mondio.....You know I don't like show lines, right? I know none of these dogs would get it. Sadly not many working lines would be able to get it, I think there is maybe what, one French Ring 3 Shepherd in America? Mostly the Mals are excelling in French and Mondio Ring.

@superdupersonic if he cared about the breed he wouldn't even judge the trial. Sure a good trainer can put a SchH3 on a dog.....that doesn't mean it's a good dog. Money talks, and I've talked to others who know of dogs titles being paid for, judges being paid extra, etc. If I can find the video i mentioned earlier I'll link you to it. The dogs were all Schutzhund 3 titled, and the helper literally had to walk towards most dogs so they wouldn't run off the field.

@sheeeve08 How would you know that? It's kinda hard not to choose a crappy looking dog when they are ALL crappy looking. He's not necessarily deeming them good for the breed, he picked the best one out of a group. As far as Schutzhund, a good trainer can put a Sch3 on a mediocre dog. There are better sports out there that mean much more, like ring sport. I can't see one of these dogs getting a FR3 or MR3 even if they lived 100 years.

@TCHGSD87 The judge knows how to fill up his wallet. He couldn't care less about the breed, and honestly...I'm willing to bet he knows it's wrong to breed them like this, he just wants money. It's so unfortunate what judges like him and others even in America are deeming good for the breed. Aside from that, show dogs who somehow have Schutzhund 3 titles, have videos up of them literally running off the field if actually ran towards during protection. So sad what money and bad judges have done
