  • Very low frequencies (like bass sounds) sometimes cause me to feel like someone is scrambling my brains. And right I have an upper respiratory infection (a cold) and the congestion won't leave this ear ever since I used the Netti Pot the other day. The thing that sucks is that it's a one way street. Stuff goes in, but nothing comes out without going through a lot of hell.

  • ...Anyway... I suspect that I have a PET because every time I use a Netti Pot (water in nose thingy) the water goes into my ear through the Eustachian tube. It only does this on the side of my nose that was cauterized I believe. However, I had this surgery done when I was 18 or 19. I am 31 now. I only started using a Netti Pot a couple of years ago. My ear has only bothered me since I was 25 or so. I have been super sensitive to certain sounds and my inner ear pressure bugs the hell out of me.

  • I think I might have this problem. It may have something to do with having a deviated septum. I only broke my nose once though. It looked terribly crooked so I went to and ENT to get it re-broken, aligned, and also he cauterized the right nostril because the cartilage was so bent out of shape that it blocked my air passage. Despite the cauterization it still feels blocked.

  • So good to find this, im going to play it to my family and friends to explain what i have had to endure for the past year with PET. Please give us an update also have you joined the PET facebook group. There are about 350 members. Today i posted that someone should make a short video explaining this condition.

  • I have the same condition and would like to know how you are doing now. Please inform me as to what doctor performed the surgery and where. I am very desperate to find a solution to my problem. Thank you very much!
