The legendary Scott Stevens made a career out of hits like these. Paul Kariya and Eric Lindros had there careers cut short because of these types of hits. I coach midgets hockey and hits like these are game misconducts in USA Hockey. Saying that fines and suspensions are bullshit is complete bullshit. Yes they are elite athletes but careers being ended is no joke. I'm a Flyers fan and I think Richards deserved a suspension.
