It's been a while since I've made a video.

Here's a video of Mission 2 from Devil May Cry 4. Please note that this video is made purely for the gameplay. I know I didn't collect all the Red Orbs because I wanted to make the video fit YouTube's time limit.

Everything that I've done in this video or all my videos are done manually. Auto won't let you instant rev as much as I did.

I actually haven't touched DMC4 in a while, but I'll be sure to make a video once I have the time to do so. Thanks for the comment.

LOL, sometimes I miss-calculate the timing to press L2 after the attack!

But dude, how do you do to calculate the timing to press the Exceed (after the attack)?

Personally, I practiced the timings of the swipes. I estimated when the swipe was going to make contact with the enemy and pressed L2 the instant I assume the sword made contact. That's how I did it.

I heard from other people that you can learn the timings from Nero's yelling during each strike. You could try that and see how well you do with the Exceeds. Sorry I can't be more detailed.

How do those interactive huge hits on bosses happen, like the head grab and then the lift-throw on Berial?

Bosses have to be at a "weakened" state. For Berial, you can notice that his flames are out and that he's stunned. When bosses show this weakness, you can Buster them, especially in DT.

This is son of sparda mode morons, the tutorial is optional. I'm play SoS right now and in human and devil hunter you don't fight the assaults until way later in the game. Jeez know your facts before you call someone a "faker"

Actually, the pesky assaults aren't in this mission until you get to Son Of Sparda...I think you mean mission 17...which is with Dante, not Nero. And you can have the tutorial set on...don't know why anyone would want to though since it's as annoying as hell...

Actually, that's not true. You can instant rev in auto multiple times no problem.
