1953 Cadillac Ghia Owned by Rita Hayworth

http://www.cadillaccountryclub.com/car-show.html Filmed this beauty of a Cadillac at the Imperial Palace casino car show in Las Vegas. Although this car has been there there are some changes that I have to note. Signs use to say the car was once owned by Rita Hayworth are gone.

@wwaaenn11 Thanks for leaving a comment, I was thinking the same thing as the pictures I have found had Rita in another color car. The sign said that this car has been repainted to this black and gold color. I have seen the maroon car in a few magazines. At this point I think it would be hard to figure out which car it is.

This is the other one, Rita's was metallic maroon and she was married to Ali khan,who was nice enough and rich enough to have it built for her.

thanks for posting this. I love the old coach built cars, ghia espesialy. Rita was married to the Shaw of Persia (Iran) in 1953 and he commisioned the car for her. Funny how time changes things. If an actress today married the leader of Iran think of the back lash.
