McCain pulls the old switcharoo. He advocated for progressive taxation back in 2000. He was against Bush's tax plan. So, was McCain a socialist in 2000?

No, it is directly related. I'm pointing out that, sure if you spread the wealth a few rich will get hurt, but as it is now, a large majority of Americans are getting hit hard.
Spreading the wealth is good for the overwhelming majority of Americans, since its only 1% or less of this country that control enough wealth to help out those who are stuck in a rut, especially with the economic crisis.

Socialism for the rich. They privatize the gains for them and socialize the cost for everyone else! I guess personal "responsibility" only matters when they can save a buck, not when they need help!
